Your Acknowledgments

You enter and agree to these terms and conditions when you book a service with Paw Print Trails. Under the Agreement which includes client and pet details as well as services, you warrant that:

You are the pet guardian of the dog;

You are the owner or legal occupant of the property at which the dog is housed;

Your dog is up to date with their vaccinations;

Your dog does not have any disease or health condition that is contagious to other dogs;

You have disclosed to us in writing all other information about your dog, which is necessary and relevant to the proper and safe care and management of your dog and our handlers;

The information you have provided to Paw Print Trails is true and correct

Terms

You acknowledge that Paw Print Trails reserve the right to refuse the provision of services if your dog displays aggressive or dangerous tendencies. You understand and agree to these terms and condition which apply to all future dog walking bookings. You acknowledge that these terms and conditions may vary at any time, updated terms and conditions are available on our website www.pawprinttrails.com.au and can be access at any time.

Dog Walking

Walks will always be with a handler you have had a meet and greet with. Dogs will remain on leash at all times to ensure their safety.

Dog Behaviour

The dog guardian agrees to disclose any behaviour issues the dog may have, including any biting or attacks that may have previously occurred. Any reactive behaviour displayed triggers should be relayed to the handler, e.g. lunging at cars or dogs, fearful of people or dogs, etc. The information is important for the handler to be aware of to avoid being caught off guard. Our handlers are trained in dog behaviour and body language and will react as best as they can to the signals your dog is providing, however all dog's have their own individual signals that might be missed if the handler isn't aware of what they are. This is why it is imperative that you advise Paw Print Trails of anything that causes your dog to react. 

Dog Health History

The dog guardian agrees to have the dog's vaccinations, worming and flea treatments up to date. The dog guardian agrees to disclose any and all information regarding the dog's current health and history that may help Paw Print Trails to provide good quality and safe service. 

Property Access

The dog guardian agrees to either provide access for Paw Print Trails to enter their property/yard where the dog is located, this can either be by being present at the property for the appointment, providing a key or code to access the property. Any keys provided to Paw Print Trails will be stored securely and labelled in a completely confidential way, to ensure if any key is lost that no details can be tracked back to the dog guardian or their property. 

Payment Terms

All bookings will be confirmed by email or text. Payment is to be made on the day or prior to the service. Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash, handlers will carry basic change, please try to provide the correct amount. 

Cancellation/Rescheduling

The dog guardian acknowledges that they will provide a minimum of 12 hours for any rescheduling or cancellations to their bookings. Please ensure that you specify the regularity of walking, weather it is a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or a custom frequency. 

If the 12 hours notice for cancellation isn't met, if we cannot access your dog for the service, you will be charged for the full fee of the walk. 

If a service is cancelled by Paw Print Trails, you will be notified as soon as possible and provided with a minimum of 24 hours notice, the fee can be refunded or credited if it has already been paid. The time limit for a credit to be honoured is 2 months from the date of the cancellation. 

Paw Print Trails reserve the right to refuse and/or cancel a service at any time, with any dog, if the dog in question has caused any harm or injury to any handler or any animal or human they have come in contact with during a service or outside of Paw Print Trails' care, if they deem it appropriate to ensure the safety of Paw Print Trails' handlers. If a cancellation happens under these circumstances, all pre-paid services will be refunded from the date of cancellation. 

Security

Paw Print Trails have up to date public liability insurance with QBE Insurance of up to $10 million.

You acknowledge that Paw Print Trails are not responsible for the security of your property, or for any loss or damage resulting from inadequate, breached or failed security. 

Dog safety

When your dog is in the care of Paw Print Trails, we will provide them with the best care and service possible. Our main priority is the health and safety of your dog, we will act in their best interest to keep them happy and safe.

You acknowledge that during services provided by Paw Print Trails, that your dog may be exposed to illness or injury. In this circumstance, Paw Print Trails will try to contact you to obtain your instructions regarding the situation, if you are not contactable, our handler's will make our best choices to provide your dog with the best care, this may include going to the vet. If it is an emergency, then you authorise Paw Print Trails to take your dog to a vet clinic to ensure their health is professionally addressed. You authorise any vet visits during services will be monetarily covered by you, the dog guardian. 

If Paw Print Trails incur any costs in ensuring the safety of your dog during an injury or illness, you agree to reimburse us within 5 business days of receiving the request for reimbursement. 

Damages

Paw Print Trails will always try to provide the best care and safety for your dog whilst they are in our care. 

In the event the dog is causing any damage or injury to any persons/property/other animals the dog owner will be held responsible for and will be personally liable for all repairs and damages.

Personal Information

All personal information provided to Paw Print Trails is kept confidential, not sold, shared or exchanged with any other business not in direct association to Paw Print Trails. Personal information collected will be destroy upon your request when you terminate your services with Paw Print Trails. 

We do not obtain or store Your financial details.

Marketing

The dog guardian agrees that we may use of images of your dog for marketing purposes. The image of the dog may appear on the Paw Print Trails' website and social media. Please inform us if you do not wish to participate in this process.
